Your exactly right on that Dano..

And I might add the fact that you do not want to clean the barrel for the first 4 or 5 thousand shots and only then just run a couple swabs through it with goo gone or simple green. When cleaning your barrel thoroughly it will clean out the lead seal that it has developed through shooting it. You do want to clean it initially to get out the manufacturers preservative lube that they use.
