tune up parts for shadowmatic
« on: July 19, 2007, 12:10:24 PM »
Does anyone know if the JM e2000 and Apex Small Seal will fit a shadowmatic? If so can I use grade 8 washer's to help dampen torque? My dad is having a real hard time shooting consistantly. I think I may sell this and let him use the AS 2250xt I am getting from mountain air. I all ready have datuna's trigger, it helped, but still feels twangy and he can't hit the target more than 1/2 the time. Shoots fine for me, though. Thanks, John

How bad is his shooting?

Typically, a stock Gamo (even untuned) is an accurate gun. Perhaps his technique needs work... springers are a bit harder to shoot than cartridge or pneumatic guns...

John I am not an expert yet but yes the e2000 spring and small appex seal will work. The shadowmatic is the same as the 220,440, etc. Make sure you get some lube for the spring and stuff. CDT is the expert and a quick email to him will verify your questions..

Good Luck

thanks, I'll try it. If that doesn't work, I guess he gets to use the new gun when it arrives, John
