Observations of our big sister forum in NZ
« on: July 12, 2006, 02:38:30 PM »
The forum seems well rounded and very informative. Those guys have there stuff together over there. I do not want to copy there forum format but they do have some interesting Catagories within there forum. You all should take a look at there site and maybe we could learn something that would help our forum grow. They are also listed in our Library. We have several members from the NZ Forum that post here regularly.

Any ideas are always welcome, especially if they are ones that will put us in the same class as the NZ Forum and our brothers over in the Crosman Forum....

Gene:
Well, after reading your post I went & joined the NZ forum & posted a 'newbie hello'. I even blamed you for sending me over there. 8)
Just think, if I screw up, you'll be in trouble with a whole country, ain't the internet great? :D

Hi Gene & Mike,

Thanks for your kind words about the NZ forum  :)  It's a fine forum you have here too!  And it's great to see our sport/hobby bringing people together from around the globe.

Forums are made great by the members that frequent them, I am lucky to have a bunch of really neat people join in and share their knowledge and experience - both Kiwi's and from overseas.

Cheers
Alan

Alan:
Thanks for the warm welcome, I made a 'newbie' post & got a great response!
I do notice that we speak (write) somewhat different versions of english. That ought to keep things interesting. I don't know about Gene, but from where I come from ' y'all ' is a real word ( all y'all is the plural form  8) ).
Now don't forget to blame Gene for anything I screw up 8) (just kidding Gene).
Thanks again,
Mike (nmmike)

I just COPY and PASTE the [IMG] link from http://www.photobucket.com  or from my computer for pictures/schematics whichever ways it works.
And do the same from my post on the CanadianAirgunForum, I COPY the link of the post and PASTE  on my signature here.
Sometime it works great and sometime it does not ????????????????????????????

y'all and all y'all aren't real words?  I could understand if you had said "yuu'ins" like they do in Penn.  Geez I think life in Texas as we know it may be coming to an end......DANGER WILL ROBINSON,  DANGER!!!
