My apologies for a Random Quote I put up

I put up a random quote and it was strictly meant for humors sake. It was not too tactful and thinking about it know, it was downright rude.

I meant no disrespect and simply wasn't thinking properly when I had put it out there.

I am not only apologizing, but am downright sorry if I had offended anyone.

Howard now you got me wishing I would have seen it. I'm sure whatever you posted would not have offended me personally. I think political correctness is one of the things that is destroying this country. I don't watch what I say I speak my mind. You can't please everyone. If it was that bad someone would have I'm sure would have said something.

Well Howard, I wish I had a dollar for everytime I did something I was sorry for.. I would be rich.. hehe  Since we have woman and young teens who visit the GTA, I think we should be respectful of that. As far as I am concerned the quotes are fantastic and humorus. I have allot of those kind of quotes and lots of funny video's but would not put them in the GTA.. And Jason you are right about going to far with political correctness. Sometimes it is so rediculous. But I hope everyone enjoys the "Quotes" cause I sure get a laugh out of some of them myself..

Well, I'm a woman and I despise political correctness for it's sake. I do believe in according anyone the basic respect that all people deserve. If I'm offended by someone or something they have said, I'll tell them.

Oh, while I'm not impressed by someone who utters profanity every other word, I can cuss like a sailor if the occsion calls for it...   :p

I missed the quote but I'm guessing from your post it was that bad. Being that this is a public forum wouldn't be a bad idea to keep it clean. I was under the impression it was heading in a different direction. Your right if had a dollar for everytime I shot my mouth or did something that offended someone else I would have a very nice collection of air guns and property to shoot them on hehe.

I didn't think the quote was bad... for me anyways. What I neglected to factor in was that others may have issue with it. It had nothing to do with nationality, but to give you all an idea; it would be kind of similiar if let's say something happened in the national news by pick any nationality, then I put up a quote against that nationality. Internet communities are global, it's quite possible that either a member of this community or one of their friends or family are of that nationality.

Howard, I think you display a great deal of integrity for considering the feelings of others on this list, whether it was necessary or not. I didn't see the quote either, and probably wouldn't have worried about it at all in any case (unless of course you were talking about my mother ;~D).

Just goes to show the caliber of people we got on this forum!
