New Muzzle Brake For Kirby's New PCP
« on: July 29, 2007, 01:22:38 PM »
Here is a muzzle brake for Kirby's new air rifle. It seems that he takes pride in nice shiny things like Ed does..:) Anyway I made up a barrel blank this morning in order to fit the new muzzle brake on and machine it to exact specifications for him..:) There are a couple equasions that I did not have so this will be an attemt to make his muzzle brake and hope it will fit between his barrel and air tank cylinder.
THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....

Thanks Bill , but I may as well let the cat out of the bag so to speak. I had some problems with the MPR some mechanical,  some not ; what it boils down to is I think I got a lemon and part of the problem was I was taking a gun that was designed for one type of shooting(10 meter) and trying to make it work for another type (field target)  and it was getting to be too much , so I sent it back to the dealer who agreed to take it back and  let me spend my money on a different model , one that comes from the factory set at 12 FPE . I;m getting an Air Arms S410C  which will be a match form my S400C except it will be a multi-shot  with a 10 round magazine. I received the muzzle brake and it is gorgeous ; but it  won't fit my carbine , the barrel is smaller . I have a friend who has the MPR F/T ,a factory field target version of the one I had, and I'm going to see if he would like to dress up his baby. kirby
