Somehow I must have clicked on something , somewhere that sends an email notification to me when somebody replies to a message I've replied to. Now I can't find where to turn it off. I getting tired already of cleaning out my email account. Anybody know how to turn it off . I went to my control panel but couldn't  find anything that worked. kirby

IHAVE THE SAME THING HAPPENING TO ME !



I turned off the e-mail notification for private messages, but that didn't work ???



Perhaps GENE will come to our rescue !

David, I did the same thing a few days ago. Go to the control panel and on the right side click on unsubscribe from threads and that will take care of it. The button you hit to get it started was the alert button. HTH

every time you reply it starts notifying you, how do you get it to never start? I don't mind the PM note, but every thread? John

I think maybe the forum's default action for the reply notification may have changed, because I started getting the same thing overnight even though I didn't make any changes in my control panel that I know of. And my configuration has always (at least as far as I know) been set to the forum default.

Maybe Gene's just tryin' to make sure we're payin' attention. LOL. I'll bet he'll put everything to right before we know it.

Go back to the control panel and click on unsubscribe and hit delete, works for me.

You have to click on the box next to the thread listed then hit delete. I think Gene set it up to keep us coming back. Not that it is needed. HAHA
