If any of you have made pellet traps or reactive targets post them here.

...ok you can post store bought ones too :P

Heres mine.

hmm no sure that pic is showing up for some reason...here's the URL:

[/edit]

It's a wooden  box with an angled metal backstop which neatly dumps the pellets into a trough  at the bottom.

And i just made a little frame with plywood and a coat hanger to suspend bottle caps on string, they go bouncing around in a very satisfyin manner when you hit them. Works fine with my benj 397 with 2 or 3 pumps, more power would probably just shred them...

All very simple stuff, that is yet very entertaining

Here is my Target Board and Shooting Table
« Reply #2 on: July 16, 2006, 03:16:00 AM »
Here is my shooting table and target holder. Materials cost $28.00. Mostly scrap wood and screws.

The target board slides up and out of aluminum track. Target stand has spring steel plate behind it so pellets won't  penetrate plywood backing. Also at bottom is an old aluminum yield sign I found in the garage. It is screwed into plywood backing and as you can see I set a two inch hanging pig there..:)

THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....

Here is the link to the IDEAL Duct Seal compound, the very same one which Pyramyd is selling under the name of “ballistic compound”. Unfortunately I found it too late and hope that this link will save you some money. Two 5lb blocks will cover a 14” by 10” area with almost 2” thickness. It wouldn’t hurt to buy an extra 5lb block.
