... wooo-hooo!! He's here and just delivered 3 boxes from Natchez, one of which has a new 440 all snug up inside it. First thing this morning, I checked the emailed tracking message I'd gotten on Wednesday evening, and was amazed and astounded that the UPS tracking page said the shipment was on the truck and out for DELIVERY! The order was placed less than 48 hours before that. Fast service, I reckon!

Well, I've gotta get this stuff loaded into the car to head home. Unfortunately, I've got an afterwork get-together to go to, so I probably won't have time to do more than open the boxes and make sure everything's there until tomorrow. Let's see, I've already got the lawn mowed, the dishes washed, the laundry done. Yup, tomorrow should be a good day to start shootin'.

Everybody have a good weekend, cause I sure plan to.

That's very cool on the fast shipping. I hate places that put me through Heinz Syndrome;  anticipation... it's making me wait.

Thanks, Roald. I got the GRT-III trigger installed yesterday eve, and took a few shots with her. I don't have her scoped yet and haven't done a full zero with the iron sights yet, but she seems to be quite consistent. She's a good deal lighter than my scoped B26-2 and better balanced than my Daisy 1000S (hollow plastic buttstock, ya know). I think I'm gonna really like her.

First pic is of my arsenal, roughly in the order of acquisition from top to bottom, with the 440 at the bottom, except for the 2nd B3 that's still in the box, and the flea market B21 which is on the workbench for trigger/safety work. The second pic is the new addition- dig that gold colored trigger!
