Planning a Hunt
« on: August 08, 2007, 03:05:17 PM »
Looked out into my backyard this afternoon and couldn't believe my eyes,,,,,, 5 tree rats hanging all over my bird feeders.  Haven't seen that many squirrels in my yard for quite some time, don't know where they came from.

The squirrels and I have been enjoying a truce of late but as of today the truce is over.  Time to introduce them to my Flying Dragon QB78-D's and thin the herd a bit     :)

Will post pics of the hunt   :)

Hey Jeff,

This is the time of year that the Momma tree rat chases there firstlittle ones out to find there own territory ! Or the little ones will grow bigger and take there territory ! So there out lookin for food, and a place to call there own.

I have a good one for you Jeff, I saw a tree rat out in my feeder this A.M., and went for my Goldfinger, so she could have her first kill. Well I went out the back door, cocking my baby, loaded a .20 cpl and went into a kneeling position for her firs kill. I started to squeeze the trigger, very gently, and squeeze and squeeze. I think you know the rest, I took the rifle from my shoulder, wondering just what could be wrong, I forgot about that darn automatic safety !

That Squirrel is still on my fence, laughing at me....:-( NEXT TIME SQUEEKY !

There everywhere Jeff, I boxed some up and had em airdropped over you hehe. As you can see by my latest hunt post I've had to thin them out here, it's like school's out for the squirrel's. Good luck and I'm sure that I will be seeing some hunt stories and pic's from you. :) Ed
