Friendly get-together this Saturday

Should be  at least four of us ready to brave the heat and get together Saturday morning around 8am at the Covington range for Airgunning Atlanta. Plenty of practice, followed by steel falling hehe.  Bring plenty of water . Report to follow next week. kirby

Hey Kirby...if it wasn't so darned hot, I'd try to maybe try to talk Gene into running over that way. Just where is it anyhow?

I know what you mean about HOT. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to take it out there. I 'm going to try for at least noon. The range directions are on this web sight for Airgunning Atlanta .http://www.airgunningatlanta.com/index2.html  . The four of us are going to try to get our rifles ready for the 60 target match the following week .   Right now I wouldn't drive that far for much of anything that going to be outside. Just too dang hot. kirby

I will be in HOTLANTA September 14-17 for a drag race (actually, it is in Commerce). I know what you mean about hot.

It has been so hot that when I was over to CDT's yesterday my teeff fell out of my partials on CDT's shop floor and before I could gather them up and re-glue them back in the partials, Fritz ate them up. So if you see me at any of Kirby's shooting events I will be tooff less..:)

Actually it a link to my report . I put it over at RFS because it's just easier for me to post pictures.  A good time was had by all , and the heat was tolerable if you stayed in the shade . We shot from  8am  till a bout 3pm then it was off to a Mexican restaurant, then an hours drive home.    I'm about wore  out now.   I think I need a nap . kirby  http://rimfireshooting.com/index.php?showtopic=1454

Yep, another great time.

You fellas that are in the ATL area really need to come check out the FT scene down here, it is really a blast.  We spent pretty much all day BSing, knocking down targets and having some good laughs.

Seems like we all have known each other for years, we are all definitely peas in the same pod, LOL.  The other members are the same, friendly and a great bunch of guys.

PS never and I mean never go into the bathroom at the mexican restaurant......trust me on this one :o
