Trigger adjustment help, please!
« on: August 09, 2007, 11:55:49 PM »
Can anyone please give me some help with lightening the trigger on a new QB78 .177 carbine. This came with an extremely heavy trigger pull and I would like to lighten it several pounds. Right now it's the worst pull of eight guns I have and I'm not sure where to start. The enclosed instruction booklet gives some information, but I don't know how accurate it is. I don't want to get it all a part and then not get it back together again. The gun is very nice but the trigger pull is a bear and hurts accuracy besides being just annoying and I'm sure some people can relate to that!
Is this a doable project or extremely involved? I've put a new CDT trigger unit in a Gamo CFX, but nothing more complex than that as far as triggers go.
I'd apprecate comments from experienced QB fans here. Many thanks!
Gerry

Hi Gerry... if you look on my website on the Co2 page and at the Charlie Tune, there is a section for reworking the trigger that should help. Easy to work on and makes a big difference.

Hi Bob,
Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction for adjusting the trigger on my QB78 Carbine.
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you - I have been out of town, but will get to work now.

Thanks again!
Gerry
