QB 79
« on: August 10, 2007, 01:46:19 PM »
Had such good results from bulking/remote lineing the two QB's, just seemed right to order a QB 79  (.22).  In for a dime, in for a dollar...went ahead and ordered a couple of 3.5oz. mini-tanks as well.

This time, I swear...if the chrongraph blinks out "600", I'm only going to smooth the rough internal edges and leave well-enough alone.

What did you do that for?
Now I'll have to get one too!
I have been telling myself that I don't need a QB79 for weeks.
You just convinced me that I do need to get one :)
regards,
Alan

Hoping it will be like the remote lined QB 78...lots of shots at the sweet spot.  Got those first couple of shots that aren't right...center section of low varitaion/consistant shots...then the every decreasing vel. shots of pressure-fall off.  Bigger the tank, the longer the sweet spot lasts.  Figure I'll set the QB79 up as a "roamning rifle" for when i wander around away from the bench.
