Question about the site.
« on: August 11, 2007, 02:29:57 AM »
I am still finding my way here. Question I changed some settings and I now have the editor in the message window. I can change fonts so I can read it but it seems to post the reply in bigger font. I will post this one as a test which I can see if it looks larger on the forum. I don't want to appear to shout but I like to easily see what I am writing.

It's a little larger than the default font, John, but with my eyes, that ain't a bad thing. Thanks are probably in order ;~)

You shouldn't have any problem reading that...it's far larger that needs to be for people to read. Sometimes I think some people constantly like to use large font's to impress people or to draw attention to themselve and to  many people including myself, large fonts are very distracting.  :0  I usually just bypass reading them....but that's me.   :o

That is ok with me John...:) Since Fritz nabbed my glasses it has been awful trying to read and drive. Been getting lost several times a week but Bob says Fritz will eventually give me my glasses back.. Only thing now is that when I was over to Bob's shop last week, it was so hot that my teeth melted out of the settings in my partials and fell all over the floor and Fritz bagged them as well. So now I am eating mosty soup and jellow..:)

Try using the Arial Font and size 3.

Good luck

Yes.  I was stumbling around and looked like the 4 point was bold.  This one is Arial 3 which looks pretty good in the preview.

Yep....that does look good John. You are right about trying to read what you are writing during the composition of a post though. Especially when trying to make corrections. Sure is little. I guess that's what they mean when they talk about needing corrective lens...huh???  :D  :D
