Bob or any other tuner
« on: July 17, 2006, 02:40:58 PM »
I have a older HW 30 and planing on a little tune on it,spring and maybe the piston seal if needed.  it should have leather seals in it as most of the older guns have.  to convert it to synthic, a new  seal needs to be had.  Beeman doesn't sell a conversion kit , but they do sell the parts that make it up.  JM doesn't have any  piston seals for the HW 30  on his site for sale.
My question is what other piston seal would work as a alternative repalcement with out having to buy from Beeman.  they  have a $50 minum CC purchase anything less it takes forever to send money to them and send the part back.  I looking at all angles just in case the leather piston seal needs replacement.

I can't help you. I order just about everything I use from JM unless it's parts that he doesn't have or carry.

he posted on the JK to call him, I didnt get a chance to today, but I dropped him a email, so waiting to see.  I may just end up ordering the minumim from Beeman , just to see HOW long it takes them with a CC payment.
