RWS 34 go's to work
« on: August 16, 2007, 05:51:27 AM »
Well I've spent the last couple day's getting in some shooting time with her and the iron sight's were set to about 25yrd's. I gess that was good because as I was taking my lunch break today I looked out the window and there was this fella sitting on my fence post. I grabbed my new baby and told her that it was time to earn her keep and loaded up a Predator and out the side door. I reached the corner of the house, he hadn't moved just sitting and munching on my walnut's. Took my time and layed the sight's on his head. going for the eye as usual hehe. Relaxed and squeezed the trigger, IMPACT! knocked him off the fence pole, he did a spin and shut down. The 34 has completed her first hunting lesson, 23yrd's and right were it should be. Gene, she's a fine shooter and tuned to hunt. Ed

That squirrel looks like it got hit hard.  Good shooting.  You would think the squirrels would have learned to avoid your place, hehehe.

Thank you Gent's and when the Destroyer hit him, you could hear it across the yard. The pellet took the eye and socket out the other side of his skull. Again I don't mind overpenatration when shot placement is where it should be.:) My icebox was getting low and this one and one that I pulled out tonight are for dinner. Thank's to Gene's powertune she drop's em quick.Ed

I'm guessing, Ed, that this stock is too purty to do a camo job on, right?

Great shootin' on that little tree-hugger ;~)

LOL Bryan, the wood on her is fantastic and I could never cover it. All my sweetheart's with wood stock's remain uncamo'd, except for my B3 which screamed for camo. My second B3 had some great grain so I just refinished her. Ed
