Difference between the Whisper and a Shadow Sport?
« on: August 16, 2007, 09:41:03 AM »
I checked the specs online and other than the Whisper having:
- the noise dampener
- open sights

Is there any difference in the stock?
(We don;t have the Whisper here yet in New Zealand, so just wondering if it's worth waiting for.)

No difference that I could see. The barrels are the same except for the MB. Nice clean cut rifling in the Whisper and Shadow Sport. I would go with the cheapest one. I do not think  you guys have laws which ban the use of noise dampener's that you can remove.

Thanks Gene - looks like Gamo added the sights and MB and another $50 to the price :)

Yes we're allowed noise suppressors in NZ even for powderburners - very handy for bunny busting.
