C02 Info ??
« on: August 17, 2007, 12:52:05 PM »
Just have a quick question.......

I've been trying to educate myself on the shooting properties of C02, and have found quite a bit of information  available, but I just have what I hope is simple, basic question...................

What is the minimum outside temperature where you can shoot C02 guns???  I thought I read somewhere that it would be around 70 degrees,,,, would this be correct??   Thanks..........

Jeff you are basically good down to about 55 degrees to where thingsare gonna gosour. The cooler it gets though you will notice a difference in the performance of the gun. The hotter it is the more fps you will get up to about 100 degrees, the cooler down to about 55 degrees things will be slower and of course some where north of the middle is the sweet spot hehe.I hope this helps.]

I think that is reall close Jeff....:) You could go with an HPA external tank in your back pack for the winter months..:)  The QB does not care what you use for gas.. Just need a bit of pressure.. hehe

Thanks for the quick reply guys, I appreciate it.  I love shootin my QB's so much I was trying to get an idea as to how many more months of good C02 shooting I had left.  Looks like I should have a couple more months of good shootin based on this info   :)

Thanks again for the info.

Jason,

The .22 is a dream :)

I've taken it hunting a few times and it's now a proven game taker. Accurate as heck, kills game effectively, I just love hunting with it.    I love these QB's.   :)
