I've been working on my other project, the gunrack and I needed a place for more pistola's. After looking at these cheap and useless scope mount's that came with the Powerline scope I had a idea. So I went to work and made a base for the pistola's out of wood and now for the scope ring's. I drilled and tapped out some holes on the bottom of each one and then used the metal cleaning rod's that come with the B3 kit's. I used the threaded end of the rod's, cut to length and screwed them into the bottom of the mount's. Shot it all black and put some felt in the ring bottom's for comfort. Sanded and stained the wood, mounted the mount's and presto. I will mount this on the side of my gunrack project but everytime I look at the gunrack something else come's to mind hehe. Ed
