New here, but not new to airguns.

Been lurking around here for awhile. Looks like some guys who also enjoy hunting with airguns, so I thought I'd join in the fun. I've been into hunting with airguns for over thirty five years. I still have my FWB 124D and a couple of FWB 300S types that I purchased 30+ years ago.

I mounted a digicam on a couple of my PCP's this year and started videotaping some of my hunts for California ground squirrels. Here's one of the clips from a hunt this past spring.

The gun used is an FX Whisper in .22 shooting the DYNAMIC tin alloy pellets. The video is running in slow motion that's why it almost sounds like a powderburner going off.

Are you still hunting where they don't want lead?

I recall reading you moved recently and wondered if you'd found a new hunting spot.

Yeah, that's why I had to find a lead free pellet. It's a great place to hunt ground squirrels, but starting in January the ranch has banned all lead ammunition. I decided not to wait until next year to make the switch. I'm going to be back over in California in late October for some quail hunting with a buddy of mine. Upland bird hunting with airguns is legal in California. For turkey's though, you have to use .20 cal. or bigger.

Thanks folks. I've sure had a lot of fun making them. Added a whole new challenge to airgun hunting. It was most definitely multi-tasking, but what a ton of fun.
