A possible October South Carolina shootout.
« on: August 31, 2007, 05:01:04 AM »
We are considering another GTA shootout sometime during one of the first two weekends of October. Whether or not it will happen depends on whether or not we can get enough people together (committed) to make it worth while. It takes a considerable amount of time and labor to get it put together, especially if it’s just one person doing all of the work.

Once again  â€œJ” has said that he will provide the facility for the shoot… but…. he would like to have a couple of volunteers that can get there a little early to set up and some help afterwards to tear down and clean up a little. At our last shoot, “J” did nearly all of it himself although some of the guys did give a helping hand at the last minute setting up. If we can get the commitments in time, Airgun Hobby magazine will publish it in the magazine this month but we are down to about 9 days before it goes to press.

Bottom line… what about it?  Do we want to put together a shootout for one of the first two weekends of October and can we get a few committed volunteers??  When and who???

"J" will be picking it up from here.

Sorry to hear that Bob ; I was surprised at the turn out at the first one. It's hard to get folks to travel. kirby :0

Keep us posted on further developments. I know of a few folks that would make the trip from Georgia with me.
Wish I knew of this earlier.
