Just for gits and shiggles, I wanted to feel how much recoil my CFX .22 had, by holding the butt of the rifle very firmly into an immovable object; my kitchen bar (yes, I was using the chrony in the kitchen).
The harder I tried to hold it back, the more it bounced. One strangle-hold, it felt like the gun was going to turn my hands to jello. It didn't bounce, but made the gun vibrate enough, it hurt my hands.
I didn't realize just how much force springers had.
I HAVE to get CDT's trigger installed...I know I may hold the gun much lighter, with that trigger. The biggest complaint with the stock trigger (besides it being creepy and pathetic) is the force required, causes me to hold the handgrip harder than I'd like, making me inaccurate.
