So *_*_*_*_*_*y, I had to share,
« on: September 26, 2007, 04:13:44 AM »
I stumbled across this the other day and thought you would like to see it. It's not an airgun, but it gives me a whole lotta ideas. Hope you like it.

I remember those threads from back when I was into the 10/22's .Those guys have some talent . I wish I could do something like that to my HW30 stock, I'd like to raise the comb , add a pistol grip (without finger grooves) and add a little knee rest in front of the trigger guard. And maybe add an adjustable butt plate. I've had this idea running around in my head for a couple of months. Just can't seem to to get started , I'm afraid I'll screw it up. kirby

David, the nice thing about knowing it will be painted is, you can always cover up any mistakes, so give it a try you can add more filler and sand as needed, hehe. Something like this in a solid piece of Maple,or Walnut would look real nice on my CFX though, hmm.

Yuppers, I read that thread back when I built my wifes 2240.  Got lots of good ideas from that, too bad my follow-thru wasn't quite the same as that guys.  It is a cute little blue gun though, and she even shoots it 3 times a year!

Hey Dano, since your making stuff for the talons. I bet that something along the lines of the above, would look real nice. Shouldn't be too hard to incorperate the bottle in the skelatonized section, with a raised cheek peice. I would probably leave it bedlinered tho, wouldn't want to have to keep wipen finger prints, hehe.

Your welcome Gene and thank you for the kind words. Hopefully 1 day I will learn what I'm trying to do,hehe. I actually found that link on Dr. Frankenguns site, there is alot of good info and ideas on there, everyone should check it out, seems to be a bunch of great guys there also. I check out the diff forums for ideas, but there is no place like home.
