Looked out into the backyard this afternoon and saw a ton of birds at the feeders. Ran down into my basement workshop, one of my B-3's was in reach so I grabbed it and a couple of Gamo Magnums pellets. Slipped into the backyard through the basement doors, edged my way over to the corner of the house and peeked around the corner. At that moment every bird in the yard took off for parts unknows,,, but one starling made the mistake of landing on a branch 25 yards away at the top of one of my oaks. Pulled the trigger and the pellet did it's job. Starling fell dead as a stone, hitting the ground with a thud.
That's it,,, that was the entire hunt,,,, but it felt really good to get another kill with my camo'd and tuned B-3. After disposing of the bird spent about 10 minutes shooting some spinner targets with the B-3, had a blast. That little gun shoots hard and straight and makes almost no noise,,,, it's one of my favorite "backyard guns".
