Viper take's another
« on: September 30, 2007, 09:36:11 AM »
Was back out in the shop working on the Sniper B3 when I heard that chatter outside. I went into hunt mode and grabbed the Viper in wood that was resting in my shop gunrack, loaded a Predator and headed upto my loft shooting window. I  cranked the window open and settled in, where is he? I thought as I scanned the tree's. From my vantage point I spotted him as he made his way for my black wallnut tree so I rested the Viper across my arm and followed him with the crosshair's. Long shot from here, I'm ten feet up and gessing he was twenty feet up in the tree and over thirty yard's across. I waited for the moment, cmon nutter stop! and he did hehe. Safety off, crosshair's on the side if his skull looking at that eyeball and Predator away. Impact, screech and he drop's dead from the limb short one eyeball. Pic of her with her harvest, cleaned and in the icebox. It pay's to have a shooting loft. :) Ed

Man, I am jealous Ed. Our electric company (actually a contractor) came through Friday and went tree slaughtering. I haven't seen a squirrel all weekend. Hopefully they'll get back in the groove and wanna come back for their hunt. As always Ed, nice pic :)

Nice shooting bud that gun seems to be working hard for you by keeping those kills coming.
