Check the Canadian forum........
« on: October 03, 2007, 02:05:11 PM »
There is a real slick trigger mod that makes the QB trigger into a two stage like set up, have 20 of the parts needed and have installed one, works great. I found the info on another forum, name starts with the letter Y..........

It must be! Thanks much. Very nice idea, didnt know springplungers came in such a small size but I will have to go out and check our local hardwarestores now :)

Have been toying with the idea of putting a little notch in the sear as sort of a second stage but kinda dismissed that as being too crude. Then again, if it is not to my liking it's reversable at least once I suppose.

Dismissed for now till Im sure I cant find that plunger here :)

If you are just looking for one..........let me know, I have a bag full and will have the lock nuts for them in a day or so. You do have to drill the hole out with a #36 drill bit and then tap it to 6-32, not hard if you have the stuff to do it.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the offer. Im going to check here first. Drilling the hole should be fine, but have to see if I can get a 6-32 tapping bit.

You should have no problem finding a tap, if you know someone who has a set there is a good bet they have one........

Check your local electrical supply house,or Lowes, Home Depot. They have them with 6-32& 8-32 for $10-15, or 6-32,8-32,6-24,8-24 for $15-20.

Hi gents,

We do have electrical supply houses here, havent gotten around to checking out one though, it's just that we are all metric here and sometimes its a bit of pain finding anything in inches.

Like alankeys for example, I have a US set in inches but those definitly arent stocked by our local version of Home Depot.
I should be able to go and have a look this weekend :)
