Had 30 minutes to kill this afternoon before getting ready for work so I was sitting in my back yard with the QB57 just plinking away at my metal spinner targets when a starling lands in the tree directly above my spinners. Put the crosshairs of the little scope on the bird, pulled the trigger and the pellet hit the thin branch the yellow beak was standing on. The bird hopped over to the next branch and started looking nervously around.
I reloaded real fast, put the crosshairs back on the target and tried it again. "POP", the pellet slapped into the yellowbeak and he did a spiraling fall to the ground. Inspected the bird and found the CPL had entered just below the breast bone, went through the bird and exited at the top of the neck area.
Didn't have time to take pics,,, had to get ready for work plus the wife had come home while I was shootin, but the little QB57 came through again. :)
Can't wait to get the Golden Antler scope I ordered for her today. Should make it much easier for me to shoot the rifle accurately,,,,,, that tiny little 4x20 scope is tough on my old eyes........
