ordered a new shadow sport

I am so excited this is my first adult air gun and I think the shadow spot is the perfect first one. I just hope its worth the money  :D

I'm sure you will enjoy it. Now head over to CDT's website and pick up one of his triggers. It will make a world of difference. Good luck with your new baby and let us know what you think and how she does. :)

man she is a bute, I can't wait to get out and shoot her. Is there anything I should do before I shoot and zero the scope.

Clean out the barrel with Goo Gone until no more black junk comes out.

...but don't use a metal cleaning rod or metal brush as you would use with a powder burner. Use either a 1/8" wooden dowel to push the patches through, or make a pull-through with some weed-eater line (mine's orange ;~). Your barrel's rifling will thank you for years to come. I expect you can search the GTA forum for a better description of the process.
