I had the day off so after chewing the fat with my buddy Gene early this morning I camo'ed up and headed for the grove. Great day, sun is out and no breeze, still chilly though. I took a break about 30yrd's from the grove and glassed the tree's and ground for movement. All looked clear so I worked my way into the shade of the tree's. Out of the corner of my eye I caught movement to my left and 40yrd's out so I dropped down and slipped behind a stump. I knew I had seen movement out there so I began scanning the last location with the scope and went in the direction of the movement. There about 10ft. to the right of the last location I spotted a set of ear's and a eyeball just above the grass. Slow controlled breathing, slight adjustment of the scope and placed the crosshair's on the sweetspot and released the Predator. With the sweet sound of a solid hit he vanished and I layed back against the stump a moment, reset the safety by habit and loaded another just in case. Getting up I stepped off the yrd's to where he should be and sure enough he dropped on the spot at just under 43yrds. I am so impressed with this Air rifles accuracy the Predator had found it's mark between the eye and ear. I know that she's not broke in yet but she's proving herself worthy of hunting with me and at that yardage i know she's gonna just get better. Bunny smaller then the first but I bet he'll taste just as good. Ed
