Ya Jack, that Talon is a unique PCP. According to Straightshooters (Quote) The Air Force Talon is a quality PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) air rifle with a definite "one-of-a-kind" look. (Quote)

Hope you enjoy it as much as I am enjoying my new Sumatra...:)

Hello,

You have a nice looking rifle. Do you have all of the support equipment that goes with it ?  Best of luck...

"all of the support equipment"? .... Do you mean an air pump?
Yes, I have a Hill pump and the necessary adapter piece for the Talon tank. It is great exercise! :)
Most of my shooting is done at mimimum power in my basement. I get 250-300 shots before I really have to top the tank off. Talons have relatively huge air tanks; 490cc (110cc larger than a Career or Sumatra). Minimum power on mine is set at about 420fps. I adjust the wheel to around 550fps, great for punching paper at 10 yards. The interesting thing about a Talon is all that is totally adjustable. You have a power wheel for hammer spring tension as the main adjustment. But you can also adjust the tank valve's top-hat setting with one screw and no disassembly! Their functional simplicity, ease of maintenance, and user friendliness is an engineering marvel.
At the range, my friend has a SCUBA tank and yoke if I want to crank it up to full power for long ranges. But again, the tank is huge compared to most PCP's, so even at full power you get a lot of shots per charge.
