CFX feeding problems

I often have to use a tool to force pellets into my .22 CFX. My .177 does not have the same problem. Anyone have the same issue and is there a solution?

It is a common issue with CFX and I guess some pellets (might) fit better than others.

I've found that some pellets load better than others.  My .22 likes the Beeman FTS pellets which seem to load very well and shoot well for me so it works out well.  My rotary breech tends to "over rotate" just a hair which can cause a problem at times, but now that I'm used to the gun I can tell by eye when it's lined up perfectly.

Jeff is right and this is a common problem with the CFX. Some do have a tendency to "over rotate" by just a few thousandths. Try moving the lever back just a bit until you find the "sweet spot. Once you have found it and done it a few times you will find it a whole lot easier and just about stop at that spot automatically.

Bob's sure right...you can just tweak the loading block a little and find the 'sweet spot' for loading the pellet.  But it's so doggone easy to fix that it really isn't worth having to mess with it every time you load a pellet.  I've made that same post on how to fix it 2 or 3 times but have yet to hear that anyone except myself has done it.  Strange!

I have noticed the same thing on my .22 cfx. I use a small srewdriver to fully seat the pellets.

My CFX .22 breach lines up perfectly, as does my .177. I think the bottom of the loading port is too high by a bit. Also, when pushing in some pellets using a Gamo Hunter as a prod, it takes a huge amount of pressure to get the pellet into the chamber. You can actually hear the pellet move into place. The pellet has to seat dead strait to make a go of it 1st try. Sometimes I just give up and grap a breakbarrel, got to love the ease of loading. Thanks for the replies!
