i would like to view the threads in the flat mode but with the order of replies starting with the first post and all replies scrolling to the bottom of the page instead of the latest reply being at the top of the post and the original post at the bottom of the scroll.  is there any way to do this?

mmmmm - everything working in proper order now (threads ascending as i scroll down) since i left for a while and started reading posts when i returned.  i wonder if someone made a change? my thanks if they did.

Larry you have full controle of how you view your threads. Make adustments in your Control Pane and top right of screen here under message format..:) Gene
