Natchez will not ship to California

I tryed to order a Gamo CFX from Natchez and they told me that they will not ship an air rifle to California as they have been told that they are imitation or "look alke" weapons. I have never heard of this before and know that lots of folks here in California have had air guns sent from out of state. Anyone have some information to help Natchez to change their policy? I have left a message for the sales manager and asked him to call me about the matter.

Ya go here and find a FFL transfer agent, that's what I have to do because of Michigan laws. It will cost you an extra 20 or 25 bucks.

Where are you in California?  It is illegal in a few (very few) cities and towns, but for most of California not a problem.  I myself have ordered airguns (as well as centerfire and rimfire ammo) from them - very recently - without any problem.

They won't ship to Georgia either which I don't understand. We have no anti-airgun laws that would prevent them from doing so that I am aware of.

Had a call from the manager at Natchez and he has modified the web order instructions so that they will now ship air rifles to California. He was very nice about the whole thing!!
