Shrinking Seals???
« on: December 18, 2007, 08:48:20 AM »
I have a Logun Solo. I bought it used and everything was fine till colder weather set in. Long story is I don't heat my house outside of the city that much to save energy plus I am only there three days or so a week. I noticed the fill probe O rings seemed to shrink (hissing when filling) but I had a new probe so I used it an all was fine. I treated these O rings with dieletric silicon but have not switched back to see if they have regained their size. Now that the temp in the lower level is consistantly below 60 the gun seems to be losing air or leaking. I takes a couple of weeks to go down. I checked it today after 10 days and it is way down. Do I need new seals or is there some conditioner to keep them in good shape? All was well till late October. Thanks
John
