New Hammerli 850 Brake and Barrel Shroud

Was cleaning up in the shop today and found a couple scrap pieces of aluminum tubing, solid 1" stock a a piece of brass.. Stuck it all in the lathe and here is what came out.. Both the shroud and brake only extend 1/32" past the muzzle bore.

Gene,stop postin that 850,my ole lady is gonna start sendin ya hate mail ,I`ve really been thinkin wouldn`t that b ever so cool to go PCP and a few hundred cheaper than their version,and on that new dominator i hate that skinny tube just hangin there,I`m thinkin larger dia. less length,any thoughts?

Ya Barry and an offset fitting would bring the tube closer to the barrel. I will be calling the man about the tube this weekend.. It only seems right to have two 850's.. One Co2 and one PCP.. Two for less than the price of one Dominator.. woo hooo.

Yeah,or I was thinkin a little larger dia.(leaving enough room for a Gene shroud!)and not as long...hmmmmmmm
