Thanks for the heads up Vince. I also found the Gamo Sporter 500 for $59.00 and the Recon for $69.00..  One thing for sure you have to look in them flyers often.. D. Miller turned me on to the Sporter and Recon. So I bought both of them..:) I know those are a bit shy on power but I may have a lil lady shooting with me some day so those lite weight air rifles will work out good..:)

All these sales are killing me  :(

I'm gonna have to get a second job to support this addiction,,,,, and that's not a good sign  :)

...and I'm currently prepping a review of it. I'm gonna try to make this one a little more detailed.

Sounds good Vince, then I will have one also to compare with your review. Looks like a small air rifle that would be good for 10 meter shooting.

I didn't see it just now. I was looking at Cabela's as my wife got me a couple of gift cards there. I noticed they have the Refurbed 640 carbine combo for $79.99. It looks interesting but it has no iron sights and I'm sure the scope that comes with it low end. They have the Sporter 500 combo but it's $95. I think that's too much when the Sporter is $59 at Natchez. But I have Cabela's gift cards burning a hole in the pocket and my wife wanted me to get something for X-mas.

As of noon today (Saturday), the 440 is listed as being in stock on the Natchez website at $99.95...

It was a great deal at $119, and even better now. I love mine, especially with the GRTIII trigger, and if I was into having multiples of one type of gun (different caliber doesn't count ;~), I'd probably jump on another one.

Dang these sales, I ordered another one for my brother since I liked my first one so much (at $139 and thought it was a steal). I had bought 2 pink 760's for my nieces and the only adult airgun he had was the B3 I gave him last year.  When I get up there I'll take my 440 with the gold trigger and he can compare the triggers directly.  I suspect Charlie will have another order after that.  It may be a long time before we see prices on Euro imports like this as the $ may be down for a long time.

Cheers
Mark
