Anyone using an Air Venturi Gas Spring?
« on: December 25, 2007, 05:44:39 AM »
Just noticed Pyamyd selling Whispers with an optional Gas Spring installed  8)

http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/model.pl?model_id=1509

Here's what th elisting says:

Smoother cocking
Smoother shooting
Less recoil
No spring torque
No spring fatigue, even if you leave it cocked for hours
Functions perfectly in cold weather
Lasts longer than a metal spring
Installed by Pyramyd Air's expert gunsmiths!

Installation of the gas spring does NOT void the Gamo warranty!

Looks interesting...

Just curious how it compares to a quality spring and tune...

Oh wow, they're already selling the gas ram conversion?  I'd like to get one, but not enough money >.<

I am surprised it doesn't void the warranty. maybe because they are a registered dealer?

Look back a few days on the Pyramyd Blog and Pelletier has some articles on it and a list of rifles that the gas spring will fit... F Nash
