Congratulations, Paul! Don't know how much research you've done on the Talon yet, but here's some info for you if you don't have it already.
First, don't expect dramatic changes in power with the "power wheel". With a TSS, anything over 5 or 6 really isn't going to make much difference. It's really a fine tuning adjustment, and has more impact on shot to shot consistency than power. Actual power adjustment is at the top hat, the stainless piece that sticks out of the end of your tank valve. Chances are it's out too far from the factory, turn it in so the gap under the top hat is about .070", maybe a little less. I just use mechanics feeler gages for that. Set screw size is an .050 Allen. If you don't have a chrony for fine tuning, this should still get you in the ball park, good compromise between shot count and power, plus it will help keep the noise level down. Oh, and don't expect the mouse fart noise level you see in the movies, noise level will probably be on par with your springers. With Kodiaks you'll probably be around 800 fps if yours is a .22, closer to 900 if .177. Good luck, and keep us posted on how she shoots. Later.
