Custm Avatars

I am offering for Free, for a limited time, Custom Avatars for the GTA membership. They can be static (still picture(s) maximum of four for a slide-show), or a simple animated Avatar.*

I have posted some examples in my photo album. For those who are not familiar with the term “Avatar”, according to Webster’s New World Dictionary, it states: 2. An embodiment, as of a quality in a person.

 Translated in today’s computer world it means a picture, animation, or video of yourself, or of your interests, hobbies, or a statement of who you are. In today’s world that could be anything!

 On GTA, your Avatar is the image you can upload in the Control Panel.  The Upload Profile Image field is on the right side of the page. This is where you will be able to upload your custom Avatar on GTA and will be visible when you make a post.  

Ok now for the details. Please see my photo album and read the captions under each Avatar, (keep in mind the size of each avatar will be smaller than the examples in my photo album as the Avatars are automatically sized for the Avatar window in GTA.) They pretty much explain what to expect. But custom does mean custom. If you have a favorite graphic that needs an “up-lift”, or simple animation, let me know. Any color combination is possible for any graphic that you send to me, or may be in my photo album.

For those of you who may be interested in a unique custom Avatar for GTA please e-mail me first with the subject line of “GTA First”.  I will then send you via e-mail detailed instructions on how to set up and send your request. Then send me your Avatar and or request(s) and you will receive a link to access your Avatar.

It may sound complicated but it is very simple. Just ask Ed..aka..(Shadow). I animated his Avatar that he created by himself. Three (3) simple steps is all it takes to have your custom Avatar ready for this forum, E-mail signature, or MSN messenger, AOL…etc.
