New Ideas
« on: January 05, 2008, 12:37:01 PM »
I've been trying to stay busy in the shop, but making a living keeps getting in the way.  I've had a few ideas recently, including moving the grip profile forward to the rear of the trigger guard.  It seems to create a better match between the two pieces.

I've also had time to put together a pair of "2289s" that I'm growing very fond of.  Great shooters!

The Brazilian Cherry that I purchased recently is very difficult to work with.  It's as hard as a rock, and burns very easily.  Once you get it shaped, it's quite good looking.

Very nice work!!!!  I've tried my hand at making Crosman doodads so I know what goes into them.  Your work is definately top of the heap, I especially like the fore grip you made for your pumper, looks like it would be real nice to hold when you pump.

Very nice. what is a 2289? The twins look like 1377s with 760 barrels installed. Funny, because that's what I'm planning on doing to my 1377, after I power mod it.
