« on: January 07, 2008, 01:00:19 AM »

I was checking out the Cros site this mornin and found something very interesting. A Benji PCP it's not out yet, but the $ is supposed to be around $400inc pump. Here's a link for it.

Looks like a 2250/60 converted to PCP & loaded into a nice stock.

Not too bad though! I Like It!

It should be a nice entry level PCP inc pump. It may may turn a few springer shooters, but I think I'll keep mine and maybe add this one. If I read correctly mods should be easy cause of the platform. Can't wait till it hits the market.

There is a review of the gun up at  http://www.americanairgunhunter.com/benji_discovery.html At $400 including the pump it may just be what I need to get into PCP's =)

Yup, it looks to be 90% of a Crosman 2260 with a better stock.  The only problem with that is that the 2260 trigger group is even worse than the 2240/50 trigger group that aint all that great...and it's all plastic...ew!  Depending on the quality of the pump, and if it can be adapted for use with other guns, this whole rig may not be such a good deal...., but we'll have to wait and see what the full scoop is when it's offered.  It doesn't appear to be even 1% Benjamin except for the label.  Most likely a person could already build this gun from mostly stocked parts and a beefier air tube for not too far off from the same price....especially if the pump isn't great.
