Any idea?

Has anyone got any idea on how the  Gamo Shadow serial numbers work? And how you find out when individual rifles were made? I got my second hand and would love to know exactly how old it is.

I was told by Gamo USA that the production year are the two last digits of the serial number, after the dash.
