GRABBED ONE since they're Down to $39.99 from $87. I thought the original price was suspicious until it arrived and found it came as the kit not just the gun. That's with C02 cart ,glasses, and bb's.(like I needed more of them?)
Tough decision but I ordered one in spite of the low advertised fps because the reviews were so good and spoke mostly of it being trouble free and identical to the original in size and feel.
Now I know why. There is nothing out there this well built for this kind of money.
It's a little class act. Heavier than its small size would indicate w/lots of metal and good looking. Fun to shoot with the blow back action and reasonably accurate for a smoothbore bb gun. Cant expect much but still fun and a nice addition to anyones pistol collection. It's ' small very quiet good looking and extremely un-toy like.

Damn, good price. Too bad I bought one for $70 a while back. I have a real PPK/S as well, and there is no difference as far as weight and feel. I ask myself...do I need another?

Of all the toys I've got I can't seem to stop playing with the new PPK gun. I used some plasti dip rubberized black spray on the grips and it feels and looks better flat black.

Hey Dan,

Does that Plasti Grip spray work good on gun stocks?  I was thinking about using it on my QB-57?

I don't remember ever using it on wood but

i don't see why not ? I've always used Truck Bed liner for the mild dimpled effect it leaves.

Thanks for the reply Dan.  I will keep a look out from some decent bed liner...  The bed liner I used in the past I don't think I would like for a gun stock.  Too much grit.  I hear guys on here using Wal-Mart bed liner.  Do you remember the brand you used?

Well the PPK carton was sitting on the porch when I got home.  I had to take the dog for a walk, so I put a powerlet in some warm* water (my storage room is not heated much, and it's 28 F outside).  *just a little more than room temperature,  NEVER PUT A POWERLET IN HOT WATER!

Opened the box a few dog-poops later and hey!, there's two powerlets, a bag of BB's, "shooting" glasses and a very nice, heavy little pistol in there...  Not bad for under $40.  I thought this deal was just for the gun.

Anyway, dried off the 'let, put a drop of Pellgunoil on it, and read the instructions (a few times, because they weren't all that clear to me...maybe it was the excitement).  Took it out in the backyard (quickly, 'cause it's cold out there) and opened up on a cardboard box at 5 meters.  Fun, I like it.

Okay, no one is ever going to win a shooting competition with this, or maybe hit much of anything :)  But the recoil was great!  The firing cycle is not too loud, and the BB's looked sharp, as they oh so slowly arced over the snow, and - several minutes later, seemingly - hit the box (or not, mostly not) - hahaha!  Oh, hell, I didn't get into the hobby to be "serious"!  Might as well own a few "fun" guns :)

Lot of fun for $40, going to be a big hit this summer (except for hitting any targets, that is)!  Love it!  Thanks again for spotting this one -JC

You may be surprised, it will never be a target gun but once you get the feel for it they can hit where you point them..........don't try to aim them just get the feel and point it.
