Well after checking out Jeff's fine hunting adventure's and telling myself to take a break from the airgun shop I dropped the tool's and primed myself for a very cold hunt. With the wind blowing upto 20 mph and the temp at 15 degree's I knew it was gonna be a hunt for cover first. MotherNature was telling me if you want it come and get it! so I bundled up and grabbed one of my favorite and successful hunter's, the B26-2.177. With my sweetheart locked and loaded with a Destroyer I stepped out the door and recieved a cold slap in the face.I gritted my teeth and headed across the field's to the grove with a side wind whipping me all the way. Upon reaching the grove I didn't waste any time and climbed into my brush blind and focused on finding any movement around me. A hour had passed with nothing but the sound of the wind and the movement of blowing leaves when out at about 30yrd's I spotted something digging around in the leaves. This may be my only chance today in this weather so I raised her up and took a looksee through the scope. With alittle adjustment I eyeballed a perfect front profile of this guy with just one problem, a killer side wind. Ok been here before so I put the crosshair's on his left eye, safety off and sent the Destroyer away. IMPACT! and I watched him roll to his side and quiver for a few then expire. I worked my way out of my brush blind and stepped of some yard's, 34 and the Destroyer hit him just in front of his ear and exit out his neck. The wind played with me some hehehe but I was happy so I grabbed a pic for you all and scooted home to clean and icebox and warm my bone's. Ed
