Gamo Rocket Pellets
« on: August 13, 2006, 01:54:55 PM »
Went starling shooting this afternoon and shot 4 birds with Gamo Rocket pellets (ones with the steel bb in the tip).  Out of curiosity I skinned out the breasts on those birds to see what kind of damage the pellets did and I was very impressed.  I posted pics of the skinned breasts/tissue damage in the post I made in the "Hunting Gate" so if you'd like to see the results of the damage those pellets did you can look at that post.  I didn't want to post the pics here as I do  not wish to offend anyone who might find them objectionable.  I don't think I'll use them again on starlings, I'll save them for squirrel season.
