Another Reason to Check Walmart

I was over there getting some groceries on Friday and wandered into the sporting goods/hunting area as I always do and lo' and behold, they had a mark down on the G1 Extreme Kit.





$89 for the gun/muzzle break, scope, mount, sock, targets.  Yes, I bought one. It's in pieces right now on my work bench and I'm waiting for bluing touch up and thread locker to dry before lubing and reassembly. Only fired three shots out of it before I took it apart but it was nice even then. Bloody Gamo trigger will need work/replacing but I'd already known that.





Overall, nice gun. Should do well once it's broken in and sighted.

You got a heck of a buy,,, that's terrific  :)

I love my G-1, nice smooth shooter.  Best of luck with it..  

I haven't been to Walmart in a few weeks,,, I may have to stop by there tomorrow after work   :)

Went out at 4:30 this sunday morn. and grabbed 1 for $79 for the package,wonder if I can still shoot a spring gun?Gotta have a Tuna trigger tho...

Walmart here in New Jersey doesnt even carry pellets or scopes, let alone shooters.



K Mart stopped carrying guns years ago here, because they were afraid of P.E.T.A.. The last item for shooting that I have seen there, was a gun safe ! and only one, and they couldn't find the combination for it !



I gotta find a way out of this "state" !!!!!

Good luck with them guys.  I am on my third one.  The first would not hold POI and I tried three scopes.  The second shot 2ft to the left at 5yds with the scope adjustment maxed out.  The third has changed POI 3X in two outings.  Bout time for a CFX.

In my area all the Wally Worlds only carry crosman bb rifles and a couple daisy pumps, etc. While I was over in Simpsonville the other day I stopped by Wally World and they have more paintball stuff now than cheapy air rifles. Just a couple of packs of crosman hollow points to choose from...:) Sad story..:(

Just picked up a Sierra Pro yesterday here at a  MA. WalMart for $114.00 .Reg $159.00.
After some web reading It too is apart on my bench and I don't even know if I've got a bad one or not?
Treating it like I would any Chinese springer. Clean, lube, true, & tune .........
