I believe he's talking about .22 rimfire? I agree. Shouldn't hunt coyote w/.177 airgun. Maybe against the law in some states I'm sure.

well as i mentioned as well as yotes we have raccoons.....we have deer that visit our yard daily and my wife leaves food out for them i knew it was going to bring in the raccoons as well ...it started with just a few and now our back yard looks like a rave party at night with all the raccoons ....as of now they are not causing us any grief ...but i know that they will harm a cat if they cross one another and i have warned my wife of this. so i usually ward them off with my crosman 357 co2 pistol ....but they always come back.if they start becoming a problem as far as getting into things or threaten the cat then i will take them out.....and also upon speaking with my dad he said i ws welcome to use his hunter extrem on the yotes ..again though its a 177...

nothing against airguns but I've got a similar problem with coyotes so I used it as an excuse to get me a 65 pound draw compound bow!  It will do the job no problem and I can use it for deer hunting.  just my two cents worth.  :)

cz is rimfire from czech republic, cz 453. Very nice for the money. Still needs a trigger smoothing out, but .... we all know how easy that is w/the right gear.
Here is a link, I have no interest in this link, just for info

the local gun shop gets them for between 3 - 400.00 I think, John
