'ello Mates! Catch Sunday Morning?
« on: February 03, 2008, 03:27:41 AM »
It seems that the Brits have an invasion of Gray squirrels on the island! I'll 'ave to give it to 'em, their red squirrels are much "cuter" than the ones they brought-over from us!

Looked like some have taken it personally, shooting the grays (good riddance!) with .22 caliber powder burners.  Problem is, there are just too many of them, driving the reds to extinction.

The grays look well-fed, and are runnin' amock, terrorizing the island, doing what we Yanks do best...  8)

I did catch that, and you know what occurred to me?  It's retribution for the English Sparrow and the Starling :-)!  Although in all fairness, the Starling did not come from England, and I don't think they were brought in by Brits.  Sounds like they need to loosen up their airgun laws, though.  Later.
