Rws 460 .22 first crow!
« on: February 03, 2008, 07:05:57 AM »
I finally got the chance to shoot my first crow with my 460 .22 caliber.  I shot the crow at around 45 yards with a 14.3 crosman pointed pellet.  I held the croshairs right on his forehead and squeezed the trigger.  He was hit right in the chest and was dead before he hit the ground.  The hit had loud impact and it was great to see him fold right away.  I cant wait to take this gun squirrel hunting this year.  It seems like almost the perfect tool for the job. This gun is deffinitely my favorite hunter, and even a great plinker next to my 850.  Thanks prieciate it.

Congratulations to you and your shooter on her first crow, Avery. The first of many, hopefully.

Thos 460's sure seem to be very Hard hitters. I'm in the process off importing one myself, but unfortunately we are only allowed the .177 caliber.

I'll just have to use" Deadly" pellets like Predators and Barracudas.

Enjou your new rifle!!
