they mix up the codes once a month so it might be fun to try and find a code.  Google search i do know that when you make a purchase they often send new codes and junk mail.  I will search right now, often i find people looking for wolf ammo and discounts.

I heard they have a great barrel, hammer forged. Should be a pretty decent shooter, about like the 513 except not as powerful. I did see a report on the 513 recently on one of the forums. I thought the .22's were no longer available here in the states according to the importer. I wanted one of these some time ago but as said could not get the .22.. So think I will push the button on this deal and it truly is about half price. Pyramyd had them some time back for around $100..... FN

My MP 512M just came I've got about 100 pellets through it by now and it is pretty good for accurate  I will end up being a project gun the stock sucks but it looks as if it wouldn't be to hard to make a nice new one the trigger is a bare but I'll get it working fine and I'll do a super tune on it. by the way it came with a cleaning rod and new spring , it's a very light gun and dosn't seem fussy about pellets but I've only got crossman pointed and daisy wadcutters. it likes both of them I'll let you know how it comes out and i will  do pictures as I go. howie

I wish they had it in .177.. I have to many .22's now. Does anyone know if they make this model in .177?

Ok, looked and found it on Pyramyd's site. The Sportsman's guide says 623 fps for the .22 and Pyramyd says 578fps for the .177. mmmm maybe a miss print or who knows...:) Does anyone know the true chronied fps of either one?

Seems Sportsmans Guide had a problem at one time sold to someone under 18 in MA and worked out a deal with the Commonwealth to restrict all gun sales here.............In lieu of a giant fine. Well I got mine today, from my friend who lives in Maine, and dam if it isn't a really nice gun in all the right places. It's typical Russian lack of exterior refinement that you grow to expect but near perfect working mechanics! Including a Spare spring cleaning rod and a competent manual complete with exploded views. Rated @ 623 fps and rarely does Baikal ever produce less than advertised in my experience. I would be very surprised if it did.  Gotta tune & chrony this thing!

I also picked up a Baikal Pistol that becomes a rifle That I'm in love with. I reviewed it in, well... the Reviews section
