GRT-III do on the drop test?
« on: February 06, 2008, 06:14:21 PM »
How are the GRT-III as far as on the Drop/Bump test?
Is it so light it will go off?
I understand you should all ways use the safety.
It just something I do on all the Rekord triggers after adjusting them.
I've had them so light it has gone off on the bump test.

Is the an adjustment on the GTR-III?

I have 2 of them. Did not fudge with Charlie's adjustments. Both bump tested safe.

Yes, there's adjustment, but most likely you will not need it.

Believe it or not but CDT assembles these triggers into his test unit and each and everyone is adjusted to perfection and tested. I know because I have helped him on many occasions setting them up. I install the springs, and screws, and hand them over to CDT sitting next to me and he installs them and tests them right there..:) I have seen a pile of 200 trigger sitting there waiting for assembly and testing.. Not only are there 28 steps in the CNC process to manufacture them and not to mention the anodizing process, but it takes hours to set these triggers up by hand and test after they have completed the machining process.. And I did not mention the time it takes to custom cut the springs to length and de burr the ends..:)

Just a bit of info..:)
